Sunwah-Northeastern University Iron and Steel Technology Research and Transfer Centre

In cooperation with the Northeastern University, Sunwah established the Iron and Steel Technology Research and Transfer Centre, aiming to provide comprehensive advanced solutions on steel processing technology to the Belt and Road countries. The Chinese Academy of Science Academician Professor Wang Guodong who is known as the "Father of iron and steel" is the Executive Director, and Dr. Jonathan Choi is Chairman of the Centre. The Centre also consists of top specialists in iron and steel transfer technologies.

The Northeastern University is the cradle of China's iron and steel industry. As the head of the automation and technological laboratory in the University, Professor Wang represents the University and owns a number of patented innovations in iron and steel processing. The Centre led delegations to visit Vietnam and Southeast Asian countries for exchanges and business co-operations.
