Urumqi Mayor Yahefu Paidula Meets Dr. Jonathan Choi.
On the afternoon of June 26, Yahefu Paidula, Deputy Secretary of the Urumqi Municipal Committee and Mayor of Urumqi, met with a delegation led by Dr. Jonathan Choi at Urumqi Municipal Government. Dr. Choi is a Member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Alliance, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong, and Chairman of Sunwah Group. The delegation was in Urumqi to attend the 9th China-Eurasia Expo. The two sides exchanged views on project implementation and the promotion of trade cooperation with Central Asian countries.

Hong Kong's Sunwah Group Participates in "Cooperation Day" Activities Under Summer Davos Framework.
From June 23 to 25, the 17th Annual Meeting of the New Champions of the World Economic Forum (AMNC 2026, Summer Davos Forum) was held in Dalian. During this period, the "Cooperation Day" series of activities under the AMNC 2026 framework, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (HCMC C4IR), were concurrently carried out, focusing on technological innovation, industrial upgrading, and cross-border cooperation. Sunwah Group was represented by a delegation led by Jesse Choi, President of the ASEAN Region, CEO of Sunwah Innovation, and Chairman of the Vietnam Chapter of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance.

Hainan Governor Liu Xiaoming Meets Dr. Jonathan Choi in Hong Kong.
On June 17, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong, Chairman of the Alliance, and Chairman of Sunwah Group, hosted a delegation led by Liu Xiaoming, Deputy Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Hainan Province, at the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on deepening cooperation between Hainan and Hong Kong. During the meeting, the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce and the Hainan Provincial Council for the Promotion of International Trade signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Deepening Cooperation. Governor Liu Xiaoming presented Dr. Jonathan Choi with a letter of appointment as a member of the Hainan Free Trade Port International Advisory Committee.

Dr. Jonathan Choi Leads Delegation to Visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam.
On the morning of May 28, 2026, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, and Chairman of Hong Kong's Sunwah Group, led a delegation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam. He held in-depth discussions with Deputy Minister Nguyễn Minh Vũ and other officials on further promoting economic and trade investment, technological innovation, and industrial cooperation.
