Dr. Jonathan Choi Leads Delegation to Cambodia, Meets Prime Minister Hun Manet to Deepen Win-Win Cooperation.
From August 6 to 9, 2026, Dr. Jonathan Choi, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the CPPCC, Chairman of the Sunwah Group, and President of the Hong Kong Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, led a delegation of nearly 50 business leaders from the Greater Bay Area on a visit to Cambodia. The delegation was received by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet and Deputy Prime Minister Sun Chanthol, and also met with H.E. Wang Wenbin, the Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia. During the visit, the delegation hosted the "Greater Bay Area Synergy · Expanding Horizons – China-Cambodia Industrial Cooperation Forum," and visited the Canadia Group, the Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, and the Autonomous Port of Sihanoukville.

Hong Kong Sunwah Group Partners with Nanhai Enterprises to Build China-Vietnam Smart Home & Building Materials Exhibition and Trade Center in Ho Chi Minh City.
On July 31, Hong Kong Sunwah Group and Foshan Nanhai Enterprise Overseas Business Service Co., Ltd. signed a project cooperation agreement to jointly establish the China-Vietnam Smart Home & Building Materials Exhibition and Trade Center in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, exploring a new model for connecting China's pan-home furnishing industry with the Vietnamese and ASEAN markets.

Dr. Jonathan Choi Attends Boao Forum for Asia Perth Conference, Discusses Green Transition and Regional Cooperation.
On July 27, the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), in collaboration with Australia's Fortescue Group, co-hosted the Perth Conference under the theme "Green Transition: Towards a Shared Future for People and Planet." Approximately 200 representatives from political, business, and think tank sectors of China, Australia, and other countries attended the event.

2026 China (Guangxi) – Malaysia Business and Investment Cooperation Forum Held in Kuala Lumpur.
On July 23, the 2026 China (Guangxi) – Malaysia Business and Investment Cooperation Forum was held at the Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The forum was co-organized by the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit Secretariat, the Joint Secretariat of the China-ASEAN Business Council, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, and the Malaysia Guangxi Chamber of Commerce. Representatives from government agencies, business associations, and enterprises of both countries attended the event to explore new opportunities for bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
