On December 19, 2025, Vietnamese Deputy Prime Minister Hu Duc Phuc visited Hong Kong. After meeting with Mr. John Lee, Chief Executive of HKSAR, he specially arranged a meeting with Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, the Bohai Rim Entrepreneurs Alliance, Sunwah Group, and Vina Capital Investment Fund.

Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Visits CGCC, Thanks Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs for Contributions to Cambodia's Development.
On September 10, 2025, H.E. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, led a delegation of entrepreneurs from the Cambodian Oknha Association to visit the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC). The delegation attended the "Cambodia-Greater Bay Area High-Quality Development and Cooperation Seminar" during their trip to Hong Kong for the 10th Belt and Road Summit.

Dr. Jonathan Choi Leads Delegation to UAE to Research Bid for WCEC
On July 27–28, 2025, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerc(CGCC) and Sunwah Group, led a delegation from the CGCC on a visit to the United Arab Emirates.The purpose of the visit was to conduct specialized research on the bidding preparations for the 2027 World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention(WCEC). As one of the convening organizations and the secretariat of the WCEC, the CGCC conducted this visit to accelerate preparatory efforts for the 2027 convention.

Dr. Jonathan Choi meets with Saudi Arabia's Consul General in Hong Kong.
Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC), Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, Bohai Rim Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, recently met with Mr. Mazin Hamad Alhimali, Consul General of Saudi Arabia in Hong Kong, and his delegation. They discussed collaboration opportunities between Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and the Greater Bay Area.
