On August 28, the founding ceremony of Hong Kong Federation of Liaoning Associations and the Liaoning-HK Economic and Trade Cooperation and Exchange Conference were held in HK. Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, was invited as Honorary advisor. Mr. Johnson Choi, Standing Committee Member of Liaoning CPPCC and Executive Director of Sunwah Group, is appointed as Executive Vice President.

Before the ceremony, Liaoning Province Party Secretary-General Hao Peng met with Dr. Choi and other representatives of the HK business community. On the 27th, Dr. Choi received Mrs. Sui Qing, Liaoning Province Party Standing Committee Member and United Front Work Department Minister, with the delegation at the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (Hong Kong).
