On the morning of December 14, 2025, Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Secondary School held a celebration ceremony for its 71st anniversary. Over 2,000 distinguished guests gathered at the Choi Kai Yau Gymnasium to celebrate the occasion, including Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance and the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC), and Permanent Honorary Chairman of the School Board; Mrs.Feng Jinyi, Vice Chairman of the Zhongshan CPPCC; as well as other leaders, school board members, alumni, teachers, students, and parents.

During the ceremony, the Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Secondary School Education Development Fund, established with a donation of 10 million yuan by Dr. Jonathan Choi, awarded 500,000 yuan for the first time to outstanding teachers of graduating classes. This initiative demonstrated a firm commitment to educational philanthropy through concrete actions.
