This year's "Nobel Heroes" series of events invited six Nobel laureates to Hong Kong, including Nobel Prize in Chemistry recipient Hartmut Michel, Nobel Prize in Physics recipient Konstantin Novoselov, Nobel Prize in Chemistry recipient Kurt Wüthrich, Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine recipient Louis J. Ignarro, Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences recipient Robert C. Merton, and Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine recipient Tim Hunt.

Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of Sunwah Kingsway Capital Holdings Limited and the event organizer, expressed his hope that this grand occasion would serve as a new opportunity for Hong Kong to pool global high-end scientific research resources and attract top international academic institutions and technology enterprises. He believes it will inject fresh momentum into promoting Hong Kong's technological innovation, talent aggregation, and international collaboration, further elevating the city's influence in the global science and technology innovation landscape.
