Development of Cineplexes

Sunwah Media established cinema operation chains in 2004. Its self-owned movie theaters and franchised chains is one of famous movie chains in China, which provides first box office international and locally-produced films.

In 2006, Sunwah Media invested in the construction of Sunwah International Cineplexes in Mainland cities, cinema operations and marketing of movie related products. At present, the company owns 30 modern multi-houses cineplexes in the central business areas of Beijing, Jiangsu, Hubei, Henan, and Liaoning.

In September 2017, the Beijing Dazhongsi Square Cineplexwas awarded "the New Force Cineplex in China" selected out of the 8, 000 cineplexes in China in the 15th China Film Festival cumthe Tsingtao Film Expo.
