On June 25, 2026, Jesse Choi, President of the ASEAN Region of Sunwah Group, received a 20-member delegation from Thai Nguyen Province, Vietnam, led by Vuong Quoc Tuan, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Deputy Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, at the group's Hong Kong headquarters. The two sides exchanged views on deepening investment cooperation, industrial alignment, and innovation-driven development.

Dr. Jonathan Choi Attends European Consular Meeting in Hong Kong, Shares Insights on Chinese Enterprises Going Global.
On June 17, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Alliance, and Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong, attended the European Consular Meeting in Hong Kong at the invitation of Harvey Rouse, EU Ambassador to Hong Kong and Macao. During the meeting, he met with 15 Consuls General of EU member states in Hong Kong and shared his perspectives on Hong Kong's economic outlook and policies related to Chinese enterprises going global.

On June 10, 2026, Kazakhstan Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin met in Shenzhen with Dr. Jonathan Choi, Member of the Standing Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong, and Chairman of Sunwah Group. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening economic and trade cooperation. Kazakhstan expressed its expectation that Dr. Choi would lead more Chinese enterprises to explore the Kazakh market.
