Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister Visits CGCC, Thanks Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs for Contributions to Cambodia's Development.
On September 10, 2025, H.E. Sun Chanthol, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia and First Vice Chairman of the Council for the Development of Cambodia, led a delegation of entrepreneurs from the Cambodian Oknha Association to visit the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC). The delegation attended the "Cambodia-Greater Bay Area High-Quality Development and Cooperation Seminar" during their trip to Hong Kong for the 10th Belt and Road Summit.

Dr. Jonathan Choi Leads Delegation to UAE to Research Bid for WCEC
On July 27–28, 2025, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerc(CGCC) and Sunwah Group, led a delegation from the CGCC on a visit to the United Arab Emirates.The purpose of the visit was to conduct specialized research on the bidding preparations for the 2027 World Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention(WCEC). As one of the convening organizations and the secretariat of the WCEC, the CGCC conducted this visit to accelerate preparatory efforts for the 2027 convention.

Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce(CGCC), Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, Bohai Rim Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, recently met with Mr. Mazin Hamad Alhimali, Consul General of Saudi Arabia in Hong Kong, and his delegation. They discussed collaboration opportunities between Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong, and the Greater Bay Area.

Dr. Jonathan Choi met with the Argentine Ambassador to China in HK.
On July 7, 2025, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the CGCC，Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, Bohai Rim Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, met with Marcelo Gabriel Suárez Salvia, Ambassador of Argentina to China, and Gonzalo Javier Sabaté, Consul General of Argentina in Hong Kong, at the CGCC. The two sides exchanged views on cooperation opportunities between Argentina and Hong Kong, as well as the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
