Sichuan-Neijiang Projects

Sunwah signed a strategic co-operation agreement with the city of Neijiang in Sichuan to launch a series of construction projects.

It involves an investment of RMB5.1 billion and covers 685 mu of land which will include the establishment of the "Chengdu-Europe +" ASEAN International Logistics Centre, International Finance Centre, Vietnam Farm Produce (Distribution) Centre and Imported Goods Direct Selling Centre.

Located at the Neijiang city centre, the "Chengdu-Europe + "ASEAN International Logistics Centre will leverage on the Chengdu-Europe railway making Neijiang a transfer, retail, and logistic core for imported commodities like seafood, coffee, and tea from the ASEAN countries and market to Hong Kong, Macau, ASEAN and Europe. The Sunwah International Finance Centre at the south of the city will provide financial support for corporations stationed in the Centre. These two projects are fully supported by the city and provincial government as "top priority".
