Mr. Jesse Choi, ASEAN Regional President of Hong Kong's Sunwah Group, was invited to attend the ceremony and signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Zhongshan City for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - Zhongshan, China) Smart Home Building Materials & Decoration Exhibition Center project. Leveraging the Shenzhen-Zhongshan integration as a bridge, the initiative aims to connect with ASEAN markets and promote the high-quality development of Zhongshan's premium production capacity and cross-border commerce.

"2026 SINO FRENCH SOUTH CHINA INNOVATION FORUM" Held in Guangzhou.
On January 29, 2026, the “SINO FRENCH SOUTH CHINA INNOVATION FORUM” was held in Guangzhou. Co-hosted by the Consulate General of France in Guangzhou, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, the Guangdong Council for the Promotion of International Trade (Guangdong International Chamber of Commerce), and the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, the event gathered over 400 elite representatives from Chinese and French business communities. Participants engaged in roundtable discussions and explored collaborations in fields such as new energy and healthcare.

On the afternoon of January 28, 2026, the "Vietnam-China Forum on Artificial Intelligence and Green Technology Cooperation" and the launch ceremony of the Sunwah · China Enterprise Overseas Cooperation Center (Vietnam) were grandly held in Ho Chi Minh City. The forum aimed to promote precise alignment and practical cooperation between the two countries in fields such as artificial intelligence, digital transformation, smart manufacturing, and green technology. The event was jointly organized by the Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union and the Sunwah Group, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh City Center for the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore.

On January 28, 2026, Sunwah Group Hong Kong and Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) entered into a strategic partnership, with the agreement signed by Mr. Jesse Choi, Director and ASEAN Regional President of Sunwah Group, and Prof. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai, President of VNU-HCM.
