On November 1, 2025, the "2025 Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance Promotion Conference" and the "Establishment Ceremony of the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance Kuala Lumpur Chapter" were grandly held in Shenzhen.

Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance and Sunwah Group, emphasized in his speech that the conference serves not only as a platform to showcase the openness, confidence, and innovative vitality of the Greater Bay Area but also as a new starting point for deepening cooperation between the business communities of China and ASEAN.

Tan Sri Dato’ Low Kian Chuan, Chairman of the Malaysia-China Business Council and Senator of the Malaysian Parliament, pointed out that Kuala Lumpur, as a key ASEAN hub, has hosted numerous international events, including meetings of the ASEAN Secretariat. Malaysia is willing to serve as a bridge to promote integrated development between ASEAN and the Greater Bay Area.

During the ceremony, the GBA Entrepreneurs Alliance officially established its Kuala Lumpur Chapter, with Dr. Choi presenting the official plaque to Dato’ Ng Yip Soon, President of the Chapter. The event featured presentations on Hong Kong’s finance and innovation & technology sectors, Malaysia’s business environment, as well as thematic discussions on AI applications, internationalization of Chinese brands, and innovation policies in the Hetao Cooperation Zone, followed by a roundtable forum.
