On July 23, the 2026 China (Guangxi) – Malaysia Business and Investment Cooperation Forum was held at the Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The forum was co-organized by the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit Secretariat, the Joint Secretariat of the China-ASEAN Business Council, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, and the Malaysia Guangxi Chamber of Commerce. Representatives from government agencies, business associations, and enterprises of both countries attended the event to explore new opportunities for bilateral economic and trade cooperation.

Johnson Choi, President of Sunwah Group's ASEAN Region, Executive Vice Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, and Co-President of its Malaysia Chapter, stated in his address that efforts will be made to facilitate more of Guangxi's advantageous industries and enterprises to enter Malaysia and expand into the broader ASEAN market.

Earlier that morning, Cai Zhuosi also received Tang Yangchun, Deputy Director of the Trade and Investment Promotion Department of the Guangxi Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and his delegation at Sunwah Group's Malaysia headquarters.
