In September 2002, Mr. Jonathan Choi sponsored HK$100,000 to support the "Hong Kong Exposition on Journals of Science and Technology in China". The event was co-organized by the China Association for Science and Technology, the Hong Kong Culture Association, and the Beijing-Hong Kong Academic Exchange Centre, and supported by the Hong Kong Central Library, the Hong Kong Productivity Council and the Hong Kong Association for the Advancement of Science and Technology. Held at the Hong Kong Central Library from 10-12 of September, the Exposition featured 500 various types of scientific and technological periodicals, journals, award-winning publications, albums in Hong Kong and the Mainland China. The event also included a forum on the development and publication of science and technology in the 21st century.
