Sunwah sponsored the 4th annual meeting of the Asia Pacific International Chinese Language Association. The opening ceremony was held in Vietnam's capital Hanoi. More than 200 language experts and scholars from 10 countries including the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea attended the meeting. They presented over 130 research reportsduring the meetings. It was the most unprecedented occasion in terms of the number of overseas participants and reports. 

Dr. Jonathan Choi spoke at the opening ceremony and reiterated that Sunwah paid great attention to international education and cultural exchanges. In recent years, Sunwah continuously sponsored Chinese language education and research activities in the Asia Pacific region, and actively promoted Chinese as the international teaching language.
