On 18 March, Sichuan Province Party Secretary-General Peng Qing-hua welcomed Sunwah's Chairman Dr.Jonathan Choi and his delegation to visit Sichuan on investment and trade. Sichuan Province Standing Committee member, Secretary-General and Provincial Vice-Director Wang Yi-hong, Provincial Vice-Governor Li Yun-ze, Sunwah's Executive Director Johnson Choi, and Sichuan's heads of Departments attended the meeting.

Party Secretary-General Peng introduced the recent situation of Sichuan the success in monitoring the COVID and economic development. He hoped that local and overseas corporations could grasp the opportunity for joint co-operations to speed up construction of the Sichuan-Chengdu economic region on areas of infrastructure, logistics, city construction, modern finance, technology and innovation, culture and tourism, and modern agriculture. It would be a mutual win-win development. 

Dr.Jonathan Choi pointed out that Sichuan had a beautiful environment, rich in natural resources, and unique in regional location. The provincial government had created a series of investment advantages and conditions and actively extended new areas for joint developments which would certainly bring in more up and downstream corporations to Sichuan.

During the visit to Sichuan, Sichuan Standing Committee Member and Director of the United Front Work Bureau Tian Xiang-li met with Dr.Jonathan Choi. The delegation also visited the city of Meishan, Neijiang and the Sichuan Energy Investment Group.
