On 13 June, Sunwah and the French Consulate in Chengdu jointly organized the French Summer Solstice Music Day in the Yunnan Province City of Kunming. It was the first of its kind activities in Kunming. The event aims to take music to the streets, strengthen Sino-French cultural interaction through music, and promote international exchanges and dialogues.

Founded in 1982, the Summer Solstice Music Day is a well-known cultural event in France and spread globally to more than 450 cities. In the 2021 Summer Solstice Music Day, more than 150 free performances have been held in 10 cities in China free for the public audiences.
