On the afternoon of 10 December 2021, Sunwah and the Fuxing District of the Handan City government in Hebei signed a co-operation agreement to build the Hebei-Hong Kong-Macao Cooperation Demonstration Zone. Sunwah's Executive Director Mr. Johnson Choi and Fuxing District senior official witnessed the Signing. Sunwah's Tianjin representative Ms Zhang Qi (张琪）and Fuxing's Deputy District Director Mr. Tian Dong (田东) represented the two parties to sign the agreement.

Sunwah's Executive Director Mr. Johnson Choi hoped that based on the solid foundation of Sunwah's eight core businesses and the proper utilization of resources of the three areas, the co-operation project would fuse together the cultural and economic development of Hebei, Hong Kong and Macao. It would create a high quality and iconic co-operation project at regional level in Central China.
