On 29 December 2021, Sunwah and the Sichuan Energy Investment Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement. Sichuan Energy Investment Group Party Secretary and Chairman Sun Yun (孙云), presided over the signing ceremony and delivered a speech. Sunwah's Chairman Dr. Jonathan Choi witnessed the signing and spoke at the ceremony online.

According to the agreement, both parties will collaborate all-rounded and multi-level exchanges in the fields of energy, culture and tourism, real estate, logistics, healthcare, biotechnology, finance and trade to create new growth points for enterprise development.
