In the afternoon of July 8, CGCC held a seminar on the cooperation between ASEAN and the Greater Bay Area (GBA), inviting the consuls-general and chambers representatives from ASEAN countries to attend, including Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Brunei, Singapore and Myanmar.

Dr. Jonathan Choi, Permanent Honorary President of CGCC and chairman of Sunwah Group, introduced the latest development and cooperation in GBA as the keynote speaker. Mr. Yap Wei Sin, Consul-General of Malaysia delivered speech at the Summit on behalf of Consuls-General of ASEAN countries. He said that ASEAN is Hong Kong's second largest trading partner and export market. In recent years, many enterprises in GBA are interested in exploring ASEAN market and vice versa.
