The Sunwah Pearl Real Estate Project which has been invested over $1.5 billion by Sunwah Group in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, held a ground-breaking ceremony on 21 July. The project comprises hotel, apartment, office and shopping center, covering 460,000 square meters, located in a prime location close to Samdach Hun Sen Park and NagaWorld. The Sunwah Pearl will become the new landmark and the new sign of quality living in Cambodia.

Sunwah Group and HKETO in Bangkok jointly hosted a luncheon on "Towards a New Stage: Hong Kong/GBA Partnership with Cambodia" in Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of HKSAR. Dr. Jonathan Choi delivered a speech about the latest development of the Greater Bay Area, stressed that Hong Kong is playing a leading role in the GBA and will continue to promote the long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation between Cambodia and Hong Kong. Mr. LEE Sheung Yuen, the director of HKETO said that Hong Kong will work closely with Cambodia, exploring the numerous opportunities in the GBA.
