In the morning of August 23, Committee for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese of Liaoning Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, Jonathan KS Choi Foundation and Sunwah Group jointly held the Liaoning-Hong Kong Intangible cultural heritage Exhibition cum Sunwah (Shenyang) Hong Kong Film Week at the Shenyang Sunwah International Financial Centre, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of HKSAR and the 65th anniversary of Sunwah Group.
Ms. Wang Dongxiu, Deputy Head of the United Front Department of the CPC Liaoning Provincial Committee, Mr. Leung Chi-yan, Director of the office of the Government of HKSAR of Beijing Office, Mr. Han Yuqi, Director of Committee for Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and Overseas Chinese of Liaoning Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and Mr. Johnson Choi, member of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, Vice Chairman of the Bohai Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union, Director of Jonathan KS Choi Foundation and Executive Director of Sunwah Group, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.
The exhibition displayed nearly 100 exhibits, which were hand-crafted by 30 inheritors of the Liaoning Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage or folk artists. Furthermore, Sunwah (Shenyang) Hong Kong Film Week will show series of Hong Kong films, including Mcdull and Kidnap.
