On September 6, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union, the Hong Kong-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Sunwah Group, met with Professor Nguyen Dong Phong, Chairman of UEH University Council. UEH, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, is a first-class University in Ho Chi Minh City, and has a long-term partnership with Sunwah Group in education and innovation sections.
Dr. Choi introduced the recent development of Sunwah Group, saying that Sunwah will build the largest innovation centre in Ho Chi Minh City and even in Vietnam, and help enterprises from Greater Bay Area to land in Vietnam; cooperate with well-known universities, such as HKU, HKUST and VNU, taking the network advantages to assist in the transformation of scientific research results. He added that Sunwah was going to comprehensively promote the export of Vietnamese agricultural products and seafood to China, further enhancing economic and trade cooperation.
Prof. Nguyen expressed his high appreciation of the development of Sunwah Group in Vietnam, and his great gratitude for Sunwah’s support to UEH. He also expressed his willingness to cooperate with Sunwah, to jointly promote innovation ecosystem and agricultural products exports.
