After two years of preparation, the Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs (OYE) Committee of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneur Union held its inaugural meeting at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on October 28.

The presidium members of the First OYE Committee are as follows: Mr. Clarence Ling is the Chairman, while the Vice Chairmen are Mr. Calvin Yip, Ms. Carmen, Mr. Zhong Xueyong, Mr. Jackson Choi, Mr. Andrew Chan and Mrs. Jennifer Su Tan. As  Director of Intellectual Property Committee of GBA Entrepreneur Union, Mrs. Janice Choi is appointed as the Honorary Advisor.

Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of CPPCC, Chairman of GBA Entrepreneur Union, mentioned that the GBA was full of vitality by Hong Kong and Macao's active integration into the national development, and firm cooperation between Hong Kong and Shenzhen.

“The present outstanding young entrepreneurs contributed to the development of the GBA and the nation. " Dr. Choi said that, "Let's remain solidarity and collaboration, and exert our collective wisdom to build a great modern socialist country."

"OYE Forum" was then held, where economists and professional expert were invited to deliver keynote speeches and exchange views with more than a dozen of OYE representatives on the development prospects of various industries in the GBA to explore new business opportunities.
