On August 19, Shakhrat Nuryshev, Kazakh Ambassador to China, met with Dr. Jonathan Choi, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the CPPCC, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Alliance, President of the Hong Kong Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, and Chairman of Sunwah Group, at the embassy.

Dr. Jonathan Choi introduced the Group's global footprint and the upcoming China-Kazakhstan Investment Forum to be held in Kazakhstan. He noted that the forum will focus on key industries such as mineral processing, smart manufacturing, transportation and logistics, fintech, and artificial intelligence, aiming to facilitate bilateral business exchanges and the implementation of industrial projects.

Ambassador Nuryshev expressed high expectations for the cooperation. He pointed out that China-Kazakhstan economic and trade cooperation holds vast potential, and welcomed Chinese enterprises to participate in the development of Kazakhstan's key industries. He hoped to take the forum as an opportunity to conduct regular two-way economic and trade promotions, and to elevate practical cooperation to a higher level.
