Chairman of Sunwah Group Dr. Jonathan Choi made donations to establish the "Jonathan KS Choi Centre of Paris for the Promotion of Cultural Heritage", and sponsored the exhibitions "Age old cities: a virtual journey from Palmyra to Mosul". Both events were officially opened at the Arab Museum in Paris on 16 October 2018. The French President Emmanuel Macron, French Minister of Culture Franck Riester, former French Minister Culture and Education Jack Lang, French Parliamentary members, Minister of Finance, Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Japanese Ambassador to France and various consulate members attended the Ceremony.

The events represented the extended support to promote Sino-French cultural exchanges after the establishment of the "Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centre of Paris" in 2017 upon invitation by the then French President Francois Hollande. This exhibition ignited the continuation of world cultural heritage by using the most recent digital techniques to give life to ancient heritage.
