The Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centre of Paris

At the invitation of the French President Francois Hollande, Dr. Jonathan Choi founded the Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centre of Paris located at the Paris National Academy of Fine Arts (Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris). The inauguration ceremony was held in early 2017 at the Academy. 

With a history of over 300 years, the Academy is the world's third largest institution of fine arts after the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence and the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna in Italy. Many world-renowned painters have studied at the Academy, including Claude Monet, Lin Fengmian, Xu Beihong and Wu Guanzhong. 

The Centre aims to promote art and culture, deepen Sino-French education and cultural exchanges and co-operations. 

French President Hollande highly acclaimed Dr. Choi's contribution to promote Sino-French culture and education and called him "the pioneer in promoting Sino-French friendship" . 

Inauguration of the Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centre of Paris

Dr. Jonathan Choi was conferred Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters by His Excellency Jack Lang.

An exhibition of "China-Sketches for Historical Paintings 1950-1970" was held at the Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centre of Paris.
