Chairman of Sunwah Group and Sunwah Foundation Dr. Jonathan Choi hosted the Handover Ceremony of ULIS-Jonathan KS Choi Cultural Centre in Hanoi on 4 Feb 2015. Dr. Choi also met with the Ambassadors of China, Japan and Republic of Korea in Hanoi. The Centre was officiated by the Vietnam Deputy Prime Minister HE Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Dr. Choi, President of the Vietnam National University (VNU) Professor Phung Xuan Nha, and President of the VNU Languages and International Studies (ULIS). 

Sunwah Foundation also took this special occasion to hold a children painting exhibition in the Centre. Guest attendants included Director of the Vietnam Art Museum, students and parents of the universities and exhibitors, and members of the Sunwah Global Young Leaders Network. 

Established by the Sunwah Foundation, the Centre is located at the ULIS campus. It houses the ULIS-Sunwah Chinese Teaching and Research Centre and serves as a venue for the promotion of Chinese language teaching and research on Han culture, as well as international educational and cultural exchanges.
