Sunwah Foundation actively initiated community services in Vietnam. A "Sunwah and Friends Social Services Day" was held at Saigon Pearl in Ho Chi Minh City on 1 December 2013. 

The event was well attended by some 1,000 participants from members of the CPPCC, United Nations Children's Fund, and the Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training, representatives from various departments of the local Government andforeign consulates, representatives from tenants of Sunwah Tower and corporations, and students from 20 universities. 

After the Launch Ceremony, 60 scholarship students from Sunwah Foundation led the participants to kick off 10 social services projects, including Cycle for Awareness, Loving meals, "Trash" Mob, Wish of Happiness and many more. The event fully demonstrated the leading community position of Sunwah in Ho Chi Minh City.
