On 1 September, Sunwah's Chairman Dr. Jonathan Choi visited the China National Chemical Engineering Group Corporation Ltd (CNCEC) headquarters in Beijing and signed a strategic co-operation agreement with the Company.

CNCEC is a state-owned corporation and China's most technological advanced and comprehensive industry engaged in large scale chemical engineering services. It is a pioneer in China's revitalizing heavy machinery and engineering constructions.

Party-Secretary and Managing Director of CNCEC Dai He-gen welcomed Dr.Jonathan Choi and delegation and exchanged views on co-operations in areas of technology, infrastructure, and environmental protection. Mr.Dai introduced the development trend and technological strengths of CNCEC and held a leading position in implementing the Belt & Road Initiative. He hoped Sunwah could help the Company to expand by utilizing its international network and local advantages.

Dr.Jonathan Choi introduced Sunwah's eight core businesses and developments, and its recent works in the Belt & Road countries and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao bay areas. He expected more co-operations would be carried out and deepened in these areas.

The Strategic co-operation Framework agreement ceremony was signed between Sunwah and the CNCEC which marked a new step towards joint development for a win-win scenario.
