On 31 August, Liaoning Provincial Governor Liu Ning met with Sunwah's Chairman Dr. Jonathan Choi and delegation at the Friendship Hotel.
Governor Liu Ning welcomed Dr. Choi and his delegation and thanked Dr. Choi for his long-term contribution to Liaoning's business and community development. He hoped that riding on the good foundation, the two parties could further strengthen co-operations and exchanges on various areas.
Dr. Choi introduced to Governor Liu Sunwah's 30 years services to Liaoning covering three generations and regarded Liaoning the "2nd homeland". Sunwah was the promoter and participant of Liaoning's development. Over the years, it worked with Liaoning's partners and witnessed its achievements.
As the founding chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union with more than 200 corporate members, Dr. Choi shared with Governor Liu the recent activities of the Union. The Union would act as a "super connector" to strengthen business and cultural co-operations between Liaoning, Japan and Korea. Sunwah would help revitalize Liaoning in the areas of tourism and healthcare, technology and seafood development.
Dr. Choi presented the book "Culture of Mount Qian" to Governor Liu Ning.
After the meeting, Governor Liu and Dr. Choi witnessed the signing of the strategic co-operation agreement, of which Mayor of Anshan Yu Gong-bin and Sunwah's Executive Director Johnson Choi represented the respective parties.
On 30 August, Dr. Jonathan Choi and delegation met with Mayor of Anshan Yu Gong-bin to share views on strengthening co-operations on tourism and healthcare, technology and international exchanges.
Accompanied by Mount Qian senior officials, Dr. Choi and delegation visited the Mount Qian scenic districts and the Anshan Museum.
Dr. Jonathan Choi unveiled the plaque for the Mount Qian Sunwah Cultural Tourism Industry Park Ltd and hosted a discussion meeting.
On 31 August, Dr. Choi met with Deputy Mayor of Liaoyang city Yuan Yang and Liaoning's business leaders at Sunwah's Shenyang headquarters.
Dr. Jonathan Choi listened to reports from Sunwah's senior executives from Northeast, Northwest, Beijing, Tianjin and Yongkang offices.
