
On 28 May, the Sunwah Guangzhou-Hong Kong City project was launched at the western pier of the Guangzhou development district.
The project involved an investment of RMB10 billion covering an area of 130,000 square meters. It included the construction of the Guangzhou-Hong Kong-Macao Immigration Tower, provided water transport, helicopter services, and hotels for commuters in the three regions. After completion, it took within an hour to reach the Harbour City at Tsimshatsui, and the Hong Kong International Airport and Macao.
