On 28 May 2021, Group Chairman Dr. Jonathan Choi attended a dinner hosted by the French-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFC) in Shanghai with the theme "Innovating for a Better World".

The dinner began with a speech by President of CCIFC Christophe Lauras, followed by Dr. Jonathan Choi and the French Consul-General in Shanghai who spoke on the theme. Dr. Choi pointed out that for years Sunwah Group, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union and the Jonathan KS Choi Foundation have been all time partners with France in developing platforms on international culture, education, and trading exchanges with an object of helping young people to gain experiences,implement their start-up business models and encourage global innovation and development.
