On 11 July, Sunwah signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Suining Municipal Government of Sichuan. Dr. Jonathan Choi, Party Secretary of Suining Li Jiang, the CPPCC Chairman Yang Jun attended the signing ceremony. Deputy Party secretary and Mayor Deng Zheng-quan presided over the ceremony.

Sunwah's chief representative of the Sichuan and ChongqingRegion Fang Ling, and Standing Committee member and Executive Vice-Mayor of Suining Du Hai-yang signed the Agreement respectively. Both sides agreed to co-operate in the areas of ecological environment (EOD), logistics, high technology, modern agriculture, financial services, culture and education with special focus on the EOD pilot project including the development of the high-speed railway industrial new town and the Lingang industrial park.
