On 25 July, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Standing Committee Member of the CPPCC National Committee, Chairman of the Guangdong-HK-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union, Chairman of Bohai Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union and Chairman of Sunwah Group, paid a visit to Mr. Wei Huaxiang, Consul-General of China in Ho Chi Minh City.

Dr. Jonathan Choi introduced the development and investment of Sunwah Group in Vietnam for more than half a century, including Seafood, Agricultural & Dried food products, Real Estate and innovation; as well as cultural exchanges between Hong Kong and Vietnam. Dr. Choi added that Sunwah will further promote the economic and trade cooperation between China and Vietnam.

The Consul-General highly appreciated Sunwah's achievements in promoting economic and trade cooperation between Chian and Vietnam and the cultural and education exchanges over the years. Mr. Wei hoped that Sunwah will continue to play a positive role in the business cooperation, especially between Hong Kong and Vietnam. Mr. Wei also hoped that Sunwah can do business in Shandong Province, to enhance the cooperation between Qingdao City and Ho Chi Minh City, as he worked in Shandong before.
