In the afternoon of July 30, Dr. Jonathan Choi, the chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneurs Union, Chairman of the Hong Kong-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Sunwah Group, and his wife met with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Hai Quan, President of Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City.
Sunwah Group has set up many innovation and cultural centers,according to Dr. Choi. With continuous efforts of organizing cultural and education projects and promoting people-to-people exchanges around the world, Sunwah International Innovation Platform has reached partnerships with many leading universities globally.
Sunwah Innovation Center-Ho Chi Minh City has long-term cooperative relationship with the University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and Hong Kong Cyberport, which will join hands to incubate and accelerate startups in both Vietnam and Hong Kong.
President Vu expressed his gratitude to Sunwah Group's donations and support over the years. He hoped that VNU can jointly organize innovation competitions and Vietnam-Hong Kong student exchange programs with Sunwah Group, to promote education and innovation exchanges and development.
Dr. Jonathon Choi welcomed President Vu and VNU's senior executives visiting Sunwah Innovation Center, and hoped both sides could keep close contact to make further contribution to building Vietnam high-quality ecosystem for startups.
