In the afternoon of August 5, Dr. Jonathan Choi, Chairman of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area Entrepreneur Union, Chairman of the Hong Kong-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Sunwah Group, met with Mr. Nguyen Chi Dung, Minister of Planning and Investment in Hanoi.

Dr. Choi introduced the Sunwah's development in Vietnam over 50 years and now Sunwah continually strengthens cooperation in the fields of finance and innovation with Vietnamese partners, and assists in constructing the online Vietnamese shopping mall at various Chinese e-commerce platforms, to promote Vietnamese agricultural products exporting to China. Dr. Choi stressed that the rapid growth of Vietnam is very much attractive to foreign investors, and Sunwah would like to invite investors from China and over the world to invest in Vietnam through its wide partnership network.

Minister Dung spoke highly of the contribution by Dr. Choi and Sunwah to Vietnam over the years, as well as its recent plans on innovation, technology and agriculture cooperation. He said, the Vietnamese government is constantly improving the investment environment, and hoped to strengthen cooperation with Sunwah Group through organizing various events to attract foreign investment, as well as Chinese mainland and Hong Kong's leading technology enterprises to Vietnam. Dr. Choi said he will fully support the proposal made by the Planning and Investment Ministry and lead delegations from Chinese mainland and Hong Kong to visit Vietnam, exploring cooperation opportunities.

Mrs. Janice Choi, Advisor and Legal Director of Sunwah Group, Mr. Jesse Choi, Director of Sunwah Vietnam and President of Sunwah Southeast Asia, Ms. Betty Chan, Director of International Relations of Sunwah Group, Ms. Katie Nguyen, Representative of Sunwah Group in Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Janice Le, Representative of Sunwah Group in Hanoi, and Vietnamese officials from Foreign Investment Bureau and National Innovation Centre attended the meeting.
